How do I receive free shipping?
When you checkout our shopping cart automatically sends your
box USPS Priority Mail if your order is small. It is faster and usually
less expensive than UPS at that weight.
If your box is larger then you will be able to select from
several UPS services, unless you are in Alaska, Hawaii or have an international
address. If we are shipping to those areas we can only offer US Mail
services.
If our shopping
cart is offering UPS Shipping you will be able to choose from the
following services...
UPS Ground (1-7
days- see map below)
UPS 3 Day Select (delivered on the
third day- do not count the day it ships)
UPS 2nd Day Air (delivered in two days)
UPS Next Day Air (10 am delivery the
next day M-F)
UPS Next Day Air AM (8 am delivery
time the next day- not all areas M-F)
UPS Next Day Air Saver (delivered next
day by the end of the day M-F)
VERY IMPORTANT UPS NOTES!
Note 1: If you
are choosing a rush service (anything other than Ground) and expect
your box to ship out the same day be sure to contact us prior to ordering. The warehouse where the order ships from is a busy place and cannot always get an order out the same day!
Note 2: UPS will
not deliver packages on the weekend unless you pay for Next Day Air
service plus an extra fee of $15.00. Saturday service is not available
in all areas. Send us an e-mail or call for details about this service.
Note 3: UPS does
not count the day it ships or weekends when it gives delivery
estimates. For example if you order UPS 3 Day Select on a Friday your
box will not arrive until the following Wednesday.
Note 4: If you
are in New Mexico do not choose 3 Day Select or your box will be delayed
1 day! Shipping within NM takes 1 day with Ground service (see map
below).
Priority Mail has become a
very dependable method of shipping over the past few years!
If your order is samll
or you are in Alaska, Hawaii or other US territories your box will be
shipped via USPS Priority Mail. The post office says
that it takes 2-3 days to anywhere in the US. We find that it takes
1-4 days during busy times of the year.
All boxes that we ship are automatically insured.
The insurance company that we use will not reimburse a customer until
30 days has past. We do not use the US Post Office to insure our boxes
as their prices are very high.
We do not offer Express Mail as an option because
we find that it is not as reliable as UPS for rush shipping.

YES! We do ship internationally. In
fact, we will ship to any country that our shipping insurance company
will cover.

We DO NOT quote shipping via email- we just cannot be as accurate
as our shopping cart is. Please put the item(s) you want in a cart and
start the checkout process. Within 1 screen the shipping price will be
displayed. Our cart does not make you go all the way through checkout
to see the price.
The US Post Office does not offer tracking on First Class International
boxes at this time. We will send you the customs number which can help
you locate your box once it is inside your country. Simply take it to
your local post office/customs office and they should be able to tell
you when it crossed the border.
Here are the US Post Office estimates on shipping times for International
boxes. We find that adding a day or two on to their estimate is more realistic.
US Int. Priority Mail: 6 - 10 Days
US Int. First Class Mail: 6-14 Days
US Int. Express Mail: 3 - 5 Days
We have been shipping boxes internationally for over 25 years.
Our experience is that 98% of boxes make it to their final destination
and that 60% make it on time. The remaining make it there 1-10 days late.
All boxes are automatically insured. The insurance company will
not reimburse a customer until 45 days has past. We do not use the US
Post Office to insure our boxes as their insurance prices are very high.
Note on Cost: Our shopping cart does its best to estimate shipping.
Sometimes it charges more than it should. Rest assured that your order
is carefully checked once it is boxed and weighed. If it ends up costing
less to ship your order (than our cart estimated) we will make that change
to your order before we charge your account (we never charge
more- even if it ends up costing us more than our cart stated).
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. In order to be able to issue you a FULL refund
for a lost box we have to claim the entire value of your order
on the customs form. This means that the customs form will show
that the value of your parcel is the subtotal amount plus shipping
(in other words the Grand Total amount). We put a copy of your
invoice on the outside of the box in a pouch. We also put a note
asking customs to refer to the invoice for the correct amount
you paid for the merchandise (before shipping). There is no guarantee
that your customs official will look at the invoice or read our
note but they probably will.
2. We will not put down on the customs form that
this order is a gift- that is illegal.
3. You may end up paying duty/taxes when
your box arrives. These duties/taxes are determined by your government
(not the US) so it is up to you to pay them and to be aware of
them! You may want to contact your local post office/customs office
and see what the charge might be before you order.

Time: Your order will
ship in 1-2 days. We do send E-Mail confirmations when the order is placed
and ships. If you do not receive one please check your SPAM filter or

Once your box is out the door it can take anywhere
from 1 to 7 days to get to you depending on where you are located and
which shipping service you choose. You can refer to the map at the top
of the page to see how long it will take for your box to arrive if you
chose UPS Ground. If you box went via US Priority Mail it can take from
1-4 days.
Tracking:
We send out tracking numbers on all boxes that are going UPS and US Priority
Mail (unless you are an International customer in which case you will
be sent the customs number). Tracking numbers are generally sent out in
the evening. If you do not receive your tracking number be sure to check
any SPAM filters you may have. They love to get caught there!
Weekends:
We are open to answer questions on the weekends via e-mail and phone.
We do not process or ship orders during those days. If you place an order
after 12:00 noon Friday, it will not be processed until Monday morning.
There are several US legal holidays that occur on Mondays. Be aware that
we cannot ship USPS parcels on those days.
The same goes for UPS delivery. They deliver only
Mon-Fri (unless a special Saturday delivery fee is paid for). When you
count the number of delivery days don't count the day it ships or the
weekend.
Shipping Holidays:
Please be aware of UPS
holidays and US
Post Office holidays On these days your box will be packed by us but
will not go out until the holiday is over.
Backorders:
We try not to backorder any items. If we know for sure when an out
of stock item will be coming in we may choose to hold your order (if the
item will be back in stock in a day or two). If we will be out of stock
for a long time or an item has been discontinued we will contact you via
e-mail or phone to let you know.

If you received a tracking number via email
from us you can track your package easily.
Simply look and see what provider it was sent
with and select the appropriate link below. If it says USPS before the
tracking code that means it is shipping via the US Post Office. If it
says UPS before the tracking code that means it is shipping via UPS.
Note: First Class Mail International cannot
be tracked. The number we send to you is a customs number. It can be taken
to your local post office/customs office and they can tell you when it
enters your country. Beyond that no tracking is available.
